PC-Link allows the data interchange between the Alcatraz Recorder and a PC via the USB interface. PC Link can thus be used for the following applications:

• Save recorded footage from the Alcatraz Recorder (single frames or video scenes)
  on appropriate saving media.
• Record processing of the Alcatraz Recorder, e.g. the creation of magnified
  clips, picture analysis, focusing or elimination of interference, making
  single objects or persons unrecognizable or editing other photos and videos.
• Print recorderded material with a printer connected with the PC

PC-Link supports the operating systems Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows 98ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP. The operating systems Windows 95 and Windows NT are not supported, due to missing driver software.

PC-Link can save single frames or video scenes in various different formats on the PC (i.a. JPEG, TIF, BMP, PCX, PSD, PCT, WMF, TGA, PNG, MPEG, AVI).
